Pre-April 2023

– Taskbar cannot be moved to top or sides

– Right-click menus have hidden options requiring extra steps

– Start menu lacks live tiles and customization options

– System tray icons cannot be dragged onto the taskbar

– Strict hardware requirements (TPM 2.0, Secure Boot)

– Incompatibility with older CPUs

– Performance drops with AMD processors

– Driver incompatibility causing issues

– Completely removed Control Panel, Settings is the only option now

– Linux or any other system dual boot bricked, hard TPM UEFI requirement now active

– They broke VPNs in recent updates and won’t fix it

September 2024

– AI-Powered Windows Recall, which screenshots everything done on your PC and can easily be broken into, and also sends all of this to Microsoft.
